The Director of Operations is a strategic business partner for the Rooms Operations as well as the Beverages & Food outlets in the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel. Areas of responsibility include Front Office, Styling, Security, Restaurants, Kitchen, Stewarding and Events. In this position you will work with your direct reports to develop and implement departmental strategies and implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives. You will ensure all departments meet the Renaissance standards, target customer needs, ambassador satisfaction and you will focus on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the departments. As a member of the Executive Committee, you will develop and implement property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to exceed the needs and expectations of our customers and ambassadors.

Develop the right strategy that will drive our business results.  Determine the allocation of costs and maintains equipment to perform work activities.

To be eligible for this position you…

• Have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major.
• Have a minimum of five years of experience in a leadership position in as well Rooms as B&F.
• Are fluent in English and have international working experience.
